Arsenal are monitoring Juventus defender Merih Demiral but would need to pay at least £34m if they want him in January according to Calciomercato.
Per the source, the Gunners and Atletico Madrid are keeping close tabs on the 21-year-old defender.
Turkish-Football first reported Arsenal interest in Demiral back in October.
The Turkey international is frustrated with his current role at Juventus.
Head coach Maurizio Sarri has given the 1.91m tall defender just one start this term and recently opted for Rugani instead of Demiral.
If Sarri views Rugani as being ahead of Demiral in the pecking order that would make him fifth choice centre-back at Juventus.
The young defender has struggled for playing time in the Serie A this term but has been in outstanding form for Turkey.
Demiral played a starring role in Turkey holding France to a 1-1 draw away from home last month.

The Crescent-Stars are currently top of Group H with two games remaining but have conceded just three goals keeping six clean sheets.
Demiral joined Sassuolo in January after a successful stint at Alanyaspor on loan from Sporting Liston.
The powerful defender impressed in the Serie A making 14 league appearances as a first-team star.
