Arsenal must sell players to fund £25m World Cup star transfer from Turkish giants

Arsenal need to offload one of two players in order to fund a move for Besiktas’ in-demand defender Domagoj Vida.

The Croatia international has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League following an impressive showing at the 2018 World Cup.

Vida helped lead his nation to the World Cup final where they were defeated by France.

According to the Sun, Arsenal must sell either Shkodran Mustafi or Sanny Welbeck in order to raise the funds needed to sign the Besiktas star.

The report goes onto state that Arsenal boss Unai Emery is plotting a £25 million move for Vida this summer.

However, Arsenal have until Thursday evening to make the transfer happen.
