Arsenal Provisional Squad Against Watford – Unai Emery Receives Injury Boost, Mesut Ozil Selected

Arsenal take on Watford at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday hoping to extend their winning streak to six games.

The Gunners have hit an impressive run of form and have the chance to overtake Watford who head into the game in 4th place.

The North London based outfit have been given a major injury boost after Sokratis Papastathopoulos recovered from a leg injury.

The Greek international defender limped out of the victory over Everton and missed the EFL clash against Brentford mid-week.

Papastathopoulos has however, made the squad for Arsenal.

Gunners boss Unai Emery does still have a few injury concerns with Sead Kolasinac struggling with a knee problem but he has made the squad.

Laurent Koscielny (Achilles), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (leg), Carl Jenkinson (ankle) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin) are however, all sidelined and have not made the squad.

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is match fit after being rested in the mid-week cup clash and has been selected for the Watford game.

The playmaker of Turkish orign is almost certain to start for the North London based outfit and has two goals to his name in six appearances this season.
