Arsenal Receive Injury Boost Ahead Of Stoke Clash, Mesut Ozil Expected To Be Match Fit

Arsenal take on Stoke City in their first Premier League game back following the international break.

The Gunners have been given a few injury boosts heading into the clash.

Alexandre Lacazette has returned to training and could be set to make his return against the Potters on Saturday.

Jack Wilshere could also be set for a return after having to pull out of the England game against the Netherlands due to injury.

“Jack felt some tendon in his knee,” Gareth Southgate said. “It’s something he’s felt before. It’s nothing too serious.

“Hopefully over the next couple of days that will settle down. It’s something that in the past has settled down quickly.”

Laurent Koscielny picked up an injury in the Europa League against AC Milan and did miss the France international game against Columbia on Friday but did start against Russia on Tuesday.

Ramsey could also return after missing Wales’ trip to China but returning to full team training on Monday.

Mesut Ozil missed the game against Brazil after returning early from international duty but the reason for his absence was not injury.

The playmaker of Turkish origin is match fit and expected to feature.

Saed Kolasinac appeared to suffer a knee problem in the Bosnia national team game against Senegal on Tuesday.

The Bosnia international is a doubt heading into the Potters clash.
