Arsenal sent a scout to keep tabs on Roma starlet Cengiz Under in the 2-2 draw against Inter Milan at the San Siro on Sunday in the Serie A according to La Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Nicolò Schira.

Schira claims that Monchi is prepared to sell the Turkey international for €50m in January.

Under ended up scoring for the Giallorossi with a brilliant long-range effort that left the opposition keeper dumbfounded.

The 21-year-old now has four goals and five assists in all competitions to Roma this term.

Turkish-Football have reported that the Gunners have been scouting Under throughout the season.

Under’s representatives confirmed that there is interest from Arsenal and other Premier League sides.

Roma are currently in talks with Under’s agent over negotiating a new contract deal.

The young winger has another four-years remaining on his current deal but he is one of the lowest paid members of the squad earning around €1m per-season.

Roma are contemplating whether to offer Under increased wages with a buyout clause option.

Alternatively, they may decide to cash in as the squad does have alternatives and if their valuation is met as it would result in a healthy profit.

Roma signed Under on a €13m move from Basaksehir in the summer of 2017 becoming the most expensive Turkish international to leave the Super Lig.
