Arsenal Reveal Squad Ahead Of Man City Clash – Wenger Suffers Injury Blow, Mesut Ozil Available

Arsenal take on Manchester City in the Premier League on Thursday just four days after suffering a crushing 3-0 defeat against the Citizens in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger has one piece of bad news and one bit of good news.

Nacho Monreal will miss the Gunners visit of Premier League leaders Manchester City after picking up an injury in the Carabao Cup final.

With Monreal out Sead Kolasinac could make a rare start.

The Spain international was forced off in defeat to City with a back problem, which has also ruled him out of the game against Brighton on Sunday.

Wenger will however, welcome back Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who was cup-tied in the last game against City.

Playmaker of Mesut Ozil is available and has made the squad as has Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck.

Arsenal will be missing one attacking player in Alexandre Lacazette.

City head into the clash having avoided defeat in their last five head to head games against Arsenal.

The Citizens are however, without victor in their last three away games.
