Arsenal take on Sporting Lisbon in Portugal for their Match Day 3 Europa League clash hoping to extend their win streak to 11 games.

Unai Emery has named a strong squad heading into the match and has two surprise selections Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who has been out with a hamstring injury, and Mohamed Elneny who has also been out.

The Gunners will still be without Petr Cech who has a hamstring problem so Carl Jenkinson and fourth choice goalkeeper Deyan Iliev have been included in the squad.

Playmaker of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil has kept his place in the squad and traveled to Portugal.

There were rumours that Emery may have rested the 30-year-old after his outstanding display against Leicester City.

Ozil has yet to start a game in the Europa League for the Gunners but have a goal.

Emery has taken 21 players to Portugal for the game so three players will miss out for the matchday team selection.

A few youngsters including Smith Rowe have been included but it does not appear that Emery will play a weakened side.

The Spanish manager appears to be taking the tournament seriously and has already lifted the Europa League trophy three times in the past with Sevilla.
