Arsenal take on Tottenham at the Emrirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday hoping to extend their unbeaten streak to 18 games.

The Gunners will be without Mesut Ozil who was not included on the matchday teamsheet.

The official Arsenal Twitter account revealed that the reason for Ozil not being included was a back spasm he picked up in training.

The playmaker of Turkish origin will miss his fifth game this season due to a back problem as a result.

Ozil did not feature last week in the 2-1 away victory over Bournemouth either but was named in the squad.

The 30-year-old is the highest paid player in the Arsenal squad and has four goals as well as an assist in all competitions this term.

The Gunners head into the derby clash in 5th place just three points behind rivals Tottenham who sit in 3rd.

Spurs meanwhile could close the gap with league leaders Manchester City to five points with a win over Arsenal today.
