Mesut Ozil has yet to play a single minute of first-team football for Arsenal since football restarted in England following the coronavirus disruptions.
The playmaker of Turkish origin did not even make the squad today against Sheffield United in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The decision to leave Ozil out of the squad was a surprise considering he was on the bench for the last two games.
It turns out that the 31-year-old missed the game due to a slight back injury which also forced him to miss training yesterday.
Arsenal revealed the injury update on the official club Twitter account.

The Gunners went onto win the game 2-1 and book a place in the FA Cup semi-finals in the process.
The FA Cup is the only silverware Arsenal could get their hands on this season.
Ozil has lifted the FA Cup three times as a player for the North London based outfit.
