Arsenal reveals squad ahead of semi-final clash against Chelsea tonight

Arsenal will be hoping to book their place in the Carabao Cup final when they take on their rivals Chelsea.

The semi-final clash takes place tonight at the Emirates stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 (GMT).

Arsenal held Chelsea to a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge in the first-leg a fortnight ago.

Unfortunately, Arsene Wenger will be unable to call upon his latest signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenia international is cup tried after featuring for Manchester United in the previous round.

Wenger will also be unable to field Aaron Ramsey, Nacho Monreal, Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck due to injuries.

Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil is available for selection tonight. The 29-year-old played a starring role during the Gunners 4-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Ozil’s long-term future at the club is still cast in doubt after failing to sign a new contract. Unless a new deal is agreed, Ozil could end up leaving Arsenal for free in the summer.

Arsenal provisional squad: Cech, Ospina, Mertesacker, Holding, Mustafi, Koscielny, Chambers, Monreal, Mavropanos, Debuchy, Bellerin, Nelson, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Wilshere, Xhaka, Elneny, Ramsey, Ozil, Iwobi, Lacazette, Nketiah.
