Arsenal sent scouts to watch Beşiktaş star Oğuzhan Özyakup in the Black Eagles clash against Bursaspor last Sunday according to AMK.
The report claims that Arsenal as well as Inter have both been keeping close tabs on the Turkish international.
Th 22-year-old put on quite a show pulling the strings in midfield with three key passes, 80 passes and of course the winning goal.
The Istanbul giants make seven passes inside 10 seconds before Özyakup buried the ball in the bottom corner in the last minute of the game to take home all three points and move back into first place.
Özyakup now has three goals and five assists in all competitions this season under the stewardship of Şenol Güneş who replaced Slaven Bilic at the start of the season.
The young midfielder rose through the ranks of the Arsenal youth setup before joining Beşiktaş in 2012 on a £500,000 move.
Beşiktaş moved into first place overtaking Fenerbahçe following the victory over the Green Crocodiles.
