Arsenal Star Breaks Record Set By Man United Legend Eric Cantona

Mesut Ozil provided two assists in the 2-0 win over AC Milan on Thursday and went onto setup the opening goal against the Hornets today.

The playmaker of Turkish origin ended up breaking several records in the process.

Ozil provided his 50th assist since joining the Gunners, the fastest player to reach the milestone in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old beat Manchester United legend Eric Cantona’s record.

The former France international provided 50 assists in 143 games but Ozil achieved the same feat in 141 games.

Ozil now has five goals and 10 assists in all competitions for the North London based outfit this season.

The star playmaker is expected to keep his place in the team against AC Milan in the Europa League return-leg on Thursday.
