Arsenal Star Nears Emirates Exit, Offered Champions League Football But Faces Competition

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is nearing an Emirates exit this summer after falling further down the pecking order following the transfer of Bernd Leno.

Turkish-Football have reported Fenerbahce making Ospina an offer and holding talks with the Colombia international.

The 29-year-old is not the only goalkeeper on the Yellow Canaries radar.

The Istanbul giants have also been in talks with Kevin Trapp who has also become third-choice keeper at PSG following the arrival of Gianluca Buffon.

The Super Lig outfit plan to sign one of the two keepers this summer.

Fenerbahce have made strengthening their goalkeeper position a priority over the transfer window.

Volkan Demirel is approaching the end of his contract and Kameni does not feature in head coach Phillip Cocu’s plans next season.

Ospina is expected to make a final decision over his future now that Colombia have bowed out of the World Cup.

England beat the South American’s in the Last 16 on penalties.

Ospina has also been linked with a move to Boca Juniors but they have already hit their quota of foreign players.

Boca are allowed six in the squad but Ospina would be their eighth were he to join.
