Arsenal star demand mega £330,000-a-week deal amid interest from Barcelona & Man United
Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has increased his contract demands ahead of the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old could be on his way out of the north London-based club next month after failing to pen a new deal. Ozil’s contract with Arsenal expires in under seven months.
According to the Spanish outlet AS, Ozil wants a £330,000-per-week deal if he is to move to La Liga giants Barcelona.
Per the source, Ozil has told Barcelona he will only join if his contract demands can be met.
Ozil’s demands would bring in an income of £17 million per year and the Germany international is also asking for a sizeable signing-on bonus.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s rivals Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the star playmaker.
Ozil is expected to be back in action for Arsenal this weekend when they take on Burnley FC.
