Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has heaped praise on his teammates following their 4-1 victory over Nottingham Forrest in the League Cup.
The Germany international was rested for Tuesday’s clash with the Championship side as Arsenal prepare for this weekends encounter with Hull City.
Arsenal booked their place in the he fourth round of the League Cup in style with goals from summer signing Granit Xhaka, a brace from Perez and a goal from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Ozil was unable to contain his excitement and took to Twitter after the game to cheer his teammates on.

Arsene Wenger’s side have struck good form early on in the season with back-to-back wins in the league and a hard earned draw away from home to PSG in the UEFA Champions League.
Ozil is expected to return to the starting line-up when the Gunners host Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this weekend. The Germany international is yet to record an assist for his club this season.
