Arsenal Star Made Turkish Giants Transfer Priority, Gunners Hold Crunch Talks To Keep Midfielder At Emirates

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is nearing the end of his contract and could end up leaving as a free agent unless he signs a new deal.

Galatasaray have been monitoring the situation closely.

Turkish-Football understands that Wilshere has been made a transfer priority by the Super Lig champions.

The Lions wanted Wilshere in January but he opted to stay on at the North London based outfit.

Galatasaray would be able to offer the England midfielder lucrative terms, a first-choice place and Champions League football.

Terim is keen on Wilshere, he is a long term admirer of the 26-year-old and believes his management style would unlock the players talent as well as boost his confidence.

The midfielder will become a free agent when his contract expires next month but Arsenal are reportedly set to hold crunch talks to keep him on beyond the summer.

That is according to The Sun, who claim that recently appointed Gunners boss Unai Emery is planning personal talks Wilshere next week to convince the player to commit his future to Arsenal.

Per the source, Wilshere already rejected an extension deal which would involve a 25 per cent pay cut and was not convinced by last month’s slightly improved offer.

Wilshere reportedly wants to know where he would fit into Emery’s plans before making a final decision over his future.
