Arsenal star Mesut Ozil celebrated beating Everton 5-1 and signing a new contract deal in style after flying out to Istanbul with his fiancee Amine Gulse.

Ozil stayed at the Four Seasons hotel on the banks of the Bosphorus in the 100,000 TL (£19,000) a night Atik Paşa suit.

The 350 meter squared suit faces the Bosphorus in one of the most luxurious hotels in the city.

The converted Ottoman palace is a favorite for Ozil who usually stays there on visits to Istanbul.

The playmaker of Turkish origin was in Turkey planning his wedding with Gulse.

Ozil held a meeting with officials from the hotel along with his fiancee.

The 29-year-old struck a deal with Arsenal over extending his contract which was set to run out at the end of the season.

Ozil shared a photograph with Gulse on his official Instagram account from the hotel alongside a caption which translated from Turkish to English means: “The reason behind my happiness.”
