Arsenal Star Does Not Want To Leave Emirates In January For Move To Inter Milan

Arsenal Team News

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil does not want to quit the Emirates for a move to Inter Milan according to reports in Germany.

The Bild underlined that the 30-year-old is happy at the North London based club and that he will not be leaving.

Bild journalist Christian Falk pointed out that Ozil rejected a move to Inter back in 2018.

Ozil is currently the highest paid player in the Gunners side earning £350,000 a-week.

There have been rumours that the playmaker of Turkish origin is unhappy with his lack of playing time.

However, it must be highlighted that Ozil has been out with a back injury.

Ozil did play 83 minutes in the 1-0 Europa League victory against Qarabag on December 13 but was benched in the 3-2 defeat against Southampton coming on a substitute after 80 minutes.

The game was 2-2 when he entered but he picked up criticism for his dummy which led to Charlie Austin scoring the winner for the Saints.

Arsenal take on Tottenham next in the Football League Cup at the Emirates. Ozil is expected to make the squad.
