Ozil has yet to play for the Gunners this term after missing the opening game of the season due to security concerns.

The playmaker of Turkish origin was – along with teammate Sead Kolasinac – attacked by a knife-wielding moped gang.

Additionally, a fortnight later two men were arrested outside his north London home – around the time of the first game of the season against Newcastle.

Ozil missed the following match against Burnley but it was due to illness instead of security issues.

The north London based outfit have won their first two games of the season but have not beat a top-six side away since 2015.
