Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has stated that he is ready for tonights Euro 2016 clash with Italy.
The 27-year-old has been one of the stars of the German national team and is once again expected to retain his place in Joachim Low’s starting line-up.
Ozil took to Instagram to upload a video along with the following caption, “Tomorrow couldn’t be against a harder opponent. We’re ready!”
Germany will be looking to build on an their unbeaten run in the tournament. Germany defeated Northern Ireland, beat Ukraine and drew to Poland in the group stages.
The World Champions went onto dismantle Slovakia in the Last 16 by a 3-0 scoreline. Ozil has stated all four games so far and provided an assist for his sides second goal against the Ukraine in their opening game.
