Arsenal star Mesut Ozil gets linked with a move to Turkey just about every transfer window.
Ozil was born in Germany but is of Turkish origin and a huge star in his families homeland.
The 30-year-old has made no secret of the fact he grew up a Fenerbahce supporter which is perhaps the basis of the rumors.
Ozil took part in a Q&A session on Twitter yesterday where he responded to a question asking whether he would consider playing in Turkey.
The playmaker remained coy making it clear it was a ‘difficult question’ to answer but he refused to rule out the possibility of a future deal.
Difficult question! But I would say… never say never! ✌? //t.co/4IXQ28wV5P

Ozil regularly visits Turkey and is engaged to former Miss World Turkey 2014 Amine Gulse who lives in Istanbul.
The answer received over two hundred responses. Fenerbahce fans, in particular, got a little carried away!

It remains to be seen whether head coach Unai Emery will keep Ozil in the side against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League on Thursday but he has travelled with the squad.
