Arsenal star playmaker to hold talks with Euro giants in London this week

Besiktas have stepped up their efforts to sign Arsenal playmaker Jack Wilshere this summer.

The England international has already confirmed that he will be leaving the Gunners this summer after spending 17 years with the north London based club.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Besiktas President Fikret Orman will travel to London this week to hold talks with Wilshere’s representatives.

Per the source, Besiktas want to sign Wilshere as a replacement for Anderson Talisca who returned to Benfica after his loan deal expired.

The report goes onto state that Orman will travel with his assistant Umut Güner to London and the duo wants to secure the signing of Wilshere this week.

Meanwhile, Besiktas’ rivals Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have also been linked with a move for Wilshere in recent weeks.
