Arsenal star forward Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of a move to rivals Manchester United.
The Chile international has entered the final five months of his contract which has lead to Arsenal cashing in on him this month.
According to the Mirror, Sanchez is set for medical with the Red Devils after a late-night breakthrough in the transfer saga.
Meanwhile, Armenia international Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s is expected to head in the opposite direction.
Per the Source, Sanchez left Arsenal’s team hotel last night just before 23:00 saying goodbye to his teammates and made his way up to Manchester to complete the transfer.
Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil has also been linked with a move away from Arsenal after entering the final five months of his contract. However, the 29-year-old is understood to be nearing a new Gunners deal.
The German playmaker could be back in action for Arsenal this weekend when they take on their London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League.
