Arsenal Star Could Be Set For Champions League Clash Against Bayern Munich If Transfer Goes Ahead
Arsenal star Danny Welbeck is on the radar of Besiktas as the reigning Super Lig champions ramp up efforts to find a replacement for Cenk Tosun.
The star striker joined Everton last Friday leaving Besiktas short of options up front.
The Black Eagles will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League Last 16 in a months time and have prioritized signing a striker.
A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that a shortlist has been drawn up of potential replacements.
Welbeck is on the shortlist and efforts are being made to sign the striker until the end of the season.

Besiktas sent a delegation to London last week and talks were held with representatives of several players including Welbeck.
The Black Eagles have sent another delegation to London, Welbeck will be among the players the club officials will be trying to strike a deal over.
The striker is able to play wide and as a front-man and would be eligible to play in the Champions League.
Welbeck has struggled for playing time at Arsenal falling behind Alexandre Lacazette and Olivier Giroud in the pecking order.
The striker has made just 15 appearances this season in all competitions, only six were starts.
