Arsenal Star Set For Emirates Exit If Comolli Strikes Deal, £19.3m Transfer Could Impact Talks With Super Lig Giants

The future of Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina could be determined if Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli strikes a deal with the North London based outfit.

The Fanatik sports newspaper report that Comolli is locked in talks with the Gunners to secure an agreement for the Colombia international.

Per the source, Fenerbahce have made signing a new goalkeeper a priority and Ospina as well as PSG stopped Kevin Trapp are on the transfer wishlist.

The fact that Arsenal just completed the transfer of Bernd Leno on a £19.3 million [BBC] move from Bayer Leverkusen could impact their decision.

Gunners boss Unai Emery was reported as not having plans for Ospina, with a new first-choice keeper it is likely that the 29-year-old will fall further down the pecking order.

Ospina is not expected to make a final decision until after the World Cup.

Colombia lost their opening game by a 2-1 scoreline against Japan, Ospina started in goal.

Poland face Colombia next on Sunday on Matchday 2 in Group H.
