Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici was closely linked with a move to Arsenal during the Arsene Wenger era.
The Black Sea Storm confirmed to Turkish-Football they received interest from Arsenal while Wenger was in charge.
Additionally Ahmet Cebeci – one of Yazici’s representatives – said: “Yusuf wants a move to Europe, Erkut Sogut has been in talks with clubs and there is interest from the Premier League, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger watched Yusuf in person.”
