Arsenal suffer transfer blow as Euro giants issue hands off warning for £10m star they brought from Gunners for just £400k
Arsenal have been linked with a move for their former midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup.
Yesterday the Turkish outlet Fotomac claimed that Arsenal are preparing a £10 million offer for Ozyakup in January.
However, a source close to the Istanbul giants has told Turkish-Football.com that Besiktas are not looking to sell their star players mid-way though the season.
Per the source, the Black Eagles first want to extend Ozyakup’s contract before considering any deal for the 25-year-old.
Furthermore, Besiktas do not want to weaken their squad with the prospect of advancing deep into the UEFA Champions League this season.

Arsenal sold Ozyakup to Besiktas for just £400,000 back in 2012.
The midfield playmaker has gone onto cement his place at Besiktas and has established himself as a regular for the Turkey national team.
Ozyakup has entered the final seven months of his contract with Besiktas but is expected to pen a new deal with the Istanbul giants.
