Arsenal Target Set To Start Champions League Last 16 Clash – Bayern Munich vs Besiktas Probable Line-ups

Besiktas take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League Last 16 first-leg in Germany on Tuesday.

The Black Eagles finished Group G as undefeated leaders and have already beat one Bundesliga side this season.

The reigning Super Lig champions beat Red Bull Leipzig home and away.

Bayern Munich will however, be a toughter test. The Bundesliga leaders have won their last 13 games and are among the favorites to lift the Champions League.

Besiktas will be without long-term absentees Veli Kavlak, Atinc Nukan and Gokhan Tore.

The only regular first-team player they will miss is Dusko Tosic – who himself has recently falled behind Vida in the pecking order.

Senol Gunes has first-choice stars Pepe, Anderson Talisca, Ricardo Quaresma, Ryan Babel, Atiba Hutchinson and Toglay Arslan all available.

Arsenal will be keeping a close eye on the Bayern game – not something they are unfamiliar with at this stage.

Turkish-Football reported that the Gunners have been scouting Ozyakup and are interested in an end of season move.

Ozyakup will be a free agent at the end of the season unless he signs a contract extension.

Gunes faces a tough decision over who to start between the former Arsenal midfielder and Arslan.

Talisca has four goals in the competition this season but will miss the next leg if he picks up a yellow card as will Caner Erkin and Arslan.

Gunes also has a decision to make over whether to start Alvaro Negredo upfront, bring in Vagner Love or pull off a surprise and play Negredo as a forward.
