It remains to be seen how the new deal will effet a potential move to the North London based side but it would suggest that he will set put this summer at least.

The Gunners were reported to be in talks with Feyenoord over a potential £23m transfer for Kokcu according to the Daily Mail.

The young midfielder is expected to stay at Feyenoord this summer as a result of signing the new deal.

Kokcu has established himself as a first-team star for the Eredivisie outfit.

The Dutch first-tier was canceled as a result of coronavirus disruptions so the Netherlands born Turkey international will have a long rest this summer.

Kokcu had three goals and six assists in 35 appearances for Feyenoord this season.
