Arsenal team news: £60m star striker will miss out while Wenger switches focus to Europa League

Arsenal will be desperate to return to winning ways when they take on Swedish side Ostersunds FK in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The clash takes place at the Jämtkraft Arena while kick-off is scheduled for 18:00 (GMT).

The Europa League may prove to be Arsenal’s best chance of silverware this season following their defeat on Saturday.

Arsenal suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of their bitter rivals Tottenham leaving them eight points behind fourth places Chelsea.

Arsenal team news: 

£60 January signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is unavailable for selection for the Gunners having already featured for Dortmund in the competition this season.

Alexandre Lacazette is expected to start despite his barren run in front of goal.

Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are expected to start after Arsene Wenger claimed that he will not rest key stars for the clash.

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey remains an injury doubt while Santi Cazorla is ruled out with a long-term ankle problem.
