Arsenal Team News: Gunners receive injury boost in lead up to Leicester City clash

Arsenal will be looking to maintain their winning run of form when they take on Leicester City.

The clash takes place at the Emirates stadium while kick off is scheduled for 20:00 (GMT) on Monday night.

The Gunners come into the clash in impressive form following nine victories in a row in all competitions. Unai Emery’s side registered a 5-0 win over the Fulham in their last Premier League clash.

Leicester City meanwhile have been inconsistent in recent weeks. The Foxes suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool a fortnight ago and find themselves in 10th spot after eight games.

Arsenal Team News:

Arsenal boss Unai Emery received a huge boost in the lead up to the Monday night fixture after star playmaker Mesut Ozil returned to full first team training.

The 29-year-old missed Arsenal’s win over Fulham due to a back spasm. Ozil has however had the opportunity to fully recover over the international break after quitting the Germany national team.

Meanwhile, Laurent Koscielny misses out with an achilles injury and Maitland Niles is not expected to recover in time for Monday night’s clash.
