Arsenal take on Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium on Monday in the Premier League.

Gunners boss Unai Emery has been given an injury boost heading into the clash.

There was some doubt over whether Mesut Ozil would be match fit in time for the Foxes game after recovering from back spasms which ruled him out of the 5-1 victory over Fulham before the international break.

The playmaker of Turkish origin have an update regarding his availability on Instagram just hours before the game.

Ozil shared a photograph of himself at full stretch alongside the caption: “Ready for some Monday night @PremierLeague football under the lights ⚽? #YaGunnersYa #M1Ö @arsenal.”

It looks like the 30-year-old will be match fit for the game and could find himself in the starting lineup.

Ozil enjoyed a week off from competitive football over the international break giving him time to make a full recovery.

Emery could also welcome back defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Petr Cech who have also recovered from their respective injuries.

Both players will face a late fitness test leading to the Leicester game.

Arsenal have gone nine games in a row with a victory and could extend their winning streak to 10 games tonight.

The North London based outfit will also close the gap with leaders Manchester City to two points if they beat the Foxes.
