Spain international Nacho Monreal is a doubt coming into the Chelsea clash due to a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey is a doubt due to illness.

Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud will miss out with injuries.

Germany international Mesut Ozil is in line to start, the 29-year-old played a starring role during Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Crystal Palace.
