Arsenal team news: Arsene Wenger facing sickness outbreak, Mesut Ozil remains a doubt

Mesut Ozil missed the Liverpool game due to illness and could not start against Bayern Munich in the Champions League either.

Per the source, Ozil also remains a doubt due to his illness.

In other Arsenal team news longterm absentee Santi Cazorla remains out but Alexis Sanchez is fit and is expected to feature against Lincoln.

The Gunners crashed out of the Champions League mid-week 10-2 on aggregate after losing the second-leg of the Last 16 tie against Bayern Munich 5-1 at the Emirates.

The two sides will face each other in a competitive game for the first time in 1915 and this will be their first FA Cup encounter.

The Gunners have only lost one FA Cup tie against a lower league side under the stewardship of Arsene Wenger and that was against Blackburn Rovers who were in the Championship back in 2013.

Lincoln may not be favourites but Arsenal are a side in turmoil following their heavy Champions League defeat and rumours that they may end up losing a few star players at the end of the season.

Wenger faces an uncertain future but he does have a great FA Cup record and the Gunners have reached this season of the tournament 12 times under his command.
