Arsenal striker Lucas Perez is close to a move away from the North London based club.

The Spainish striker arrived in Istanbul yesterday to hold talks with the Istanbul giants.

Fenerbahce have stepped up their efforts to sign Perez following the sale of Simon Kjaer to Sevilla.

Perez made the move to Arsenal for a hefty £17 million from Deportivo according to BBC Sport. However, the prolific striker failed to break into Arsenal’s starting lineup on a consistent basis.

The former Deportivo striker still managed to score eight goals and provide six assists in 22 appearances for the Gunners last season. Perez has falling further down the pecking order at Arsenal following the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.
