Arsenal U19s beat Borussia Dortmund U19s 1-0 in the UEFA Youth League to move into joint first place with Anderlecht on 9 points.
Mavididi scored the games only goal with a well timed volley in the first half.
Five players of Turkish origin started for Dortmund; Ögün Gümüştaş, Mert Şahin, Mehmet Kurt, Hayrulla Alıcı and Burak Çamoğlu while Serdar Bingöl started on the bench.
Çamoğlu, Bingöl, Şahin and Alici all currently play for the Turkish national team at youth level.
All six players can represent both Turkey and Germany at senior level.
Dortmund are currently last in the UEFA Youth League, three points behind third placed Galatasaray who still have a game in hand.
