Arsenal v Bayern – Probable lineups, Arsene Wenger faces major selection headache

Arsenal team news

Arsenal face an uphill task in todays UEFA Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

The north London based club need to overturn a 5-1 deficit incurred in the first leg.

To make matters worse for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, star playmaker Mesut Ozil has been ruled out. Santi Cazorla will miss the game due to injury while Mohamed Elneny is also a doubt.

The absence of the three midfielders mentioned above leaves the Arsenal boss lacking options in midfield.

Chile international Alexis Sanchez is expected to return to the side after he was unexpectedly dropped from the starting lineup against Liverpool on Saturday.

According to the Evening Standard, The Gunners are yet to offer Sanchez a new contract as a result of the deteriorating relationship between the Chile international and Arsenal.

The north London based club need to score at least four goals if they are to stand a chance of qualifying to the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League.
