Manchester City will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final today.

The clash takes place at Wembley stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 16:30 (GMT).

Pep Guardiola’s side suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of Wigan Athletic on Monday. The defeat eliminated the Citizens from the FA Cup ending their hopes of a historic quadruple.

Arsenal meanwhile suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Ostersunds at the Emirates stadium in the Europa League. However, Arsene Wenger’s side did manage to qualify on aggregate goals.

Gunners star playmaker Mesut Ozil is available for selection despite a slight scare earlier this week. The Germany international missed training on Monday and Tuesday due to an illness.

However, Ozil returned to training on Wednesday and is expected to start against Man City today. Star striker Alexandre Lacazette has been ruled out for the Gunners after undergoing knee surgery.

Ilkay Gundogan played the full 90 minutes on Monday and is once again available for selection today.
