Arsenal v Vorskla – Probable lineups – Unai Emery set to make major changes to starting XI

Arsenal returns to action on Thursday when they host Ukrainian side Vorskla at the Emirates stadium in the Europa League.

Unai Emery is well versed in the European competition after winning it three times in a row with Sevilla. The Gunners know that winning the Europa League could be one of their more realistic chances of making the UEFA Champions League next season.

Arsenal made it all the way to the semi-finals last season, where they were defeat by Atletico Madrid. Diego Simeone’s side went on to win the competition.

Emery is unable to call upon the services of Laurent Koscielny, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sead Kolasinac and Alex Iwobi due to injuries.

The Spanish tactician may opt to start summer signing Berd Leno in goal while Stephan Lichtsteiner, Lucas Torreira and Mohamed Elneny are all expected to feature.

Mesut Ozil is also set to be included in the match-day squad and could even start on Thursday evening. The 29-year-old scored during the Gunners 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Saturday.
