Arsenal v Watford – Probable lineups – Unai Emery has decisions to make in midfield while Mesut Ozil set for return

Mesut Ozil

Arsenal have been in impressive form ever since losing their opening two games of the 2018/19 Premier League season.

The Gunners have registered six wins in a row in all competitions and have climbed up into sixth spot. Unai Emery’s side knows a win over Watford could carry them into the top four.

Star playmaker Mesut Ozil was rested during Arsenal’s mid-week 3-1 win over Brentford in the Carabao Cup. The Ex Germany international is expected to return to Emery’s starting eleven.

It still remains to be seen whether Ozil will play out on the wing or in his favoured number 10 role behind the striker.

Aaron Ramsey is also a doubt after contract negotiations with the club over a new contract broke down earlier this week.

Watford meanwhile comes into today’s fixture without a victory from their last three games.
