Arsenal v West Ham – Confirmed Lineups – Arsene Wenger drops star trip for League Cup

Arsenal take on an in-form West Ham United tonight in the EFL Cup as they look to book a place in the semi-finals.

Tonight’s fixture will take place at the Emirates stadium, kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).

The Gunners will face the Hammers for the second time in seven days as they look to continue their winning run. Arsenal registered a narrow victory over Newcastle on Saturday with the games only goal coming from Mesut Ozil.

West Ham have improved their form following the appointment of David Moyes as manager. The Hammers registered a 3-0 victory over Stoke to move up into 15th spot in the league.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has decided to rest his star names for tonight’s clash. The French tactician will of had an eye on Friday’s fixture against Liverpool on his mind when selecting his side.

Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette have all been rested for tonight’s game.

Moyes meanwhile has made six changes to the side which defeated Stoke.
