Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere linked with shock move to Euro Giants who can offer Champions League football

Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have been linked with a surprise move for Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere.

Wilshere’s future at the north London based club has been cast in doubt after failing to put pen-to-paper on a new deal. The England international’s current contract with Arsenal expires this summer.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim is interested in signing Wilshere during the upcoming transfer window.

Per the source, Galatasaray are planning to sell Younes Belhanda and bring Wilshere in for free to help balance the books. The Istanbul giants are currently being monitored by UEFA for financial fair play.

Wilshere was surprisingly left out of Gareth Southgate’s England national team squad which will travel to Russia for the World Cup this summer.

The 26-year-old provided seven assists and scored two goals in 40 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season.

Galatasaray will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season after securing the Turkish Super Lig championship last weekend.
