Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has uploaded a picture to social media alongside Liverpool’s midfielder Emre Can.
The 27-year-old is preparing for Germany’s final group game against Northern Ireland next week.
Ozil included the following caption along side the photo he uploaded to Instagram, “With my bro Emre Can at Sunday training session!”
Ozil is one of eight Germany born ethnic Turks in the tournament. Can is the other Germany international of Turkish origin while Turkey has six Germany born players.
The Arsenal playmaker is bi-lingual in Turkish as well as German and is also fluent in English in addition to Spanish.
Ozil has played the full 90 minutes in Germany’s opening two games while Emre Can is yet to make an appearance at this summer’s Euro 2016 in France.
Joachim Low’s side can secure top spot in their group if they record a victory over Northern Ireland.
