Germany star Mesut Ozil has texted his Arenal teammate Laurent Koscielny ahead of their Euro 2016 semifinal with France.
Joachim Low’s side on hosts France at Marseille’s Stade Velodrome tonight at 20:00 (GMT).
According to ESPN, Ozil sent a text to Koscielny which reads, “Germany are not Iceland.”
Germany are unbeaten in the competition having recorded four wins and a draw to reach the last four. France are also unbeaten in the competition and put five past Iceland in the quarter finals.
Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil is once again expected to start in his favoured number ten role for Germany today. The 27-year-old scored Germany’s only goal in the 1-1 draw with Italy in the quarter finals.
The Gunners defender Laurent Koscielny is set to start for France in defence.
