“As long as he gets a haircut” – Everton fans unsure on Croatian star linked with move to Goodison Park

Besiktas star defender Domagoj Vida could be on his way to the Premier League this summer.

A source close to Besiktas recently revealed to Turkish-Football.com that Everton have enquired about the availability of the Croatia international.

Furthermore, Turkish outlet Skor claim Besiktas have received a bid in excess of £13 million for the defender and also name Everton as one of several Premier League clubs interested in the 29-year-old.

Upon hearing the news, Everton fans took to social media to share their thoughts. The Blues supporters appear to be divided about the potential signing.

Vida only joined Besiktas back in January but has failed to convince since his move. The Croatia international made a notable mistake against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League and picked up a red card.

The powerful defender played the full 90 minutes during Croatia’s victory over Nigeria in the 2018 World Cup.

Vida made five clearances, two interceptions, one tackle and maintained an impressive passing success rate of 84.6 per cent.
