Aston Villa is reportedly set to make a renewed offer for Beşiktaş’s 18-year-old striker Semih Kılıçsoy in January according to Fanatik.

The Premier League club’s sporting director, Monchi, is a big admirer of Kılıçsoy, who is seen as one of the most promising young players in Turkey.

Monchi had previously contacted Beşiktaş about Kılıçsoy during the summer transfer window but he was unable to reach an agreement with the Turkish club.

However, Monchi is determined to sign Kılıçsoy, and he is expected to make an offer that will meet Beşiktaş’s valuation of the player.

Kılıçsoy is reportedly interested in the move, but the final decision will be made by the new Beşiktaş board, which will be elected in December.

The youngster was promoted to the first team after scoring 42 goals and providing six assists in 64 appearances for the U19 side.

The highly rated forward has one goal in six appearances in all competitions this season.

Kılıçsoy is expected to play an increasing role in the team following Senol Gunes resigning as manager.

Newly appointed head coach Burak Yilmaz is keen on the young striker and wants him to play a bigger role in the team under his management.
