While not yet a Besiktas first-team regular, his raw talent has caught the eye of European giants like Borussia Dortmund and Ajax.
For Spurs, Kilicsoy could be a long-term replacement for Bryan Gil, whose future in North London looks uncertain with loan interest from Brighton, Real Sociedad, and Sevilla.
Villa, under Unai Emery’s watchful eye, seeks a young left-winger, and Kilicsoy fits the bill perfectly. They might make a January move, but Besiktas are likely to hold firm, aware of their young star’s potential.
Besiktas holds the cards currently. While they could cash in on Kilicsoy’s burgeoning value, his contract until 2028 allows them to play the long game. Nurturing him into a bona fide star could reap even greater rewards later.
However, Premier League interest, especially from established clubs like Villa and Spurs, is a siren song for any young player. Besiktas might succeed in retaining Kilicsoy this month, but the summer transfer window could paint a different picture.
The striker has five goals and one assist in 10 Super Lig appearances this season, playing a toal of 561 minutes of football in the league.
He has has started the last seven Super Lig games and is under contract until 2028.
