Atletico Madrid took a stride towards qualifying to the round of 16 with a 2-0 victory away against Malmo.
Arda Turan started the game for last seasons Champion League finalists and was taken off in the 75th minute for Cristian Rodriguez.
Atletico sit top of the table with nine points from four games but still have lots of work to do with both Juventus and Olympiakos sitting in second and third positions with six points each.
“This is a very strange group, so I don’t want to relax, many things could still happen. We need to win our next game.” Said Diego Simeone.
The Madrid based side take on Olympiacos in the next round of games and know a win will secure their place in the Last 16.
