Atletico Madrid target Fenerbahce’s Mehmet Topal

Atletico Madrid have been linked with Fenerbahce’s defensive midfielder Mehmet Topal.
According to reports in Turkey, the La Liga Champions have sent scouts to monitor Topal in recent weeks.
Topal has been one of the top performers in the Turkish Super League this season.
La Liga sides Sevilla, Espanyol and Malaga have also expressed an interest in the Turkish international.
Topal previously played for the Spanish side Valencia. The former Galatasaray player spent two seasons at the Los Murciélagos.
The 28-year-old has played all 15 of Fenerbahce Turkish Super League games this season.
Topal’s contract with Fenerbahce ends in June 2016.
