Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has been linked with a shock move to La Liga champions Barcelona.
The 27-year-old established himself as a first-team regular in Pep Guardiola’s side this season after recovering from a lengthy knee injury.
According to the Sun, Barcelona have set their sights on the Germany international as a replacement for the outbound Andres Iniesta.
Per the source, the Spanish giants ‘look certain’ to make a move for Gundogan this summer.

The Sun goes onto cite sources from Germany who claim Gundogan would be keen on a move to Barcelona this summer.
However, Man City are understood to be keen to keep hold of their star midfielder and are expected to offer him a bumper new deal.
Gundogan provided seven assists and scored six goals in 49 appearances for Man City this season. The 27-year-old has been included in Joachim Low’s Germany national team squad for this summers 2018 World Cup.
